Jeffrey D. Banner - Partner / Attorney

Jeffrey D. Banner is a Partner at Heritage Elder Law & Estate Planning, LLC.

Mr. Banner is a Wartime Veteran.  During his 15 years of combined service, he was assigned to the 1st Armored Division and in the 82nd Airborne Division, as a member of the Long Range Reconnaissance & Surveillance Detachment. He held the position of Detachment Sergeant of the 28th Infantry Division Long Range Reconnaissance & Surveillance Airborne Detachment.

Mr. Banner received his Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law and his Master of Business Administration from Duquesne University Donahue Graduate School of Business. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from Slippery Rock University, majoring in Marketing.

Prior to forming Heritage Elder Law & Estate Planning, LLC, Jeff managed his own solo practice.

Jeff lives in Cranberry Township with his lovely wife, Brianna, and his children, Caden, Chloe, and Colten.  When he isn’t in the office, Jeff enjoys hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling. 

Mr. Banner is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania.

Timothy Sechler - Partner / Attorney

Tim Sechler is a Partner at Heritage Elder Law & Estate Planning, LLC. Tim’s estate planning practice is focused on guiding clients through the complicated maze of balancing transfer strategies, wealth preservation, and family values in the planning process.  Tim helps his clients plan for the financial threat associated with the need for long-term care.

Tim is a Combat Veteran, having served in Afghanistan as a member of the West Virginia Air National Guard.  Prior to leaving the military, Tim had attained the rank of Staff Sergeant. His experiences in the military have led him to thoroughly enjoy working with Veterans and their families.

Tim received his law degree from Duquesne University School of Law and his Master of Business Administration from the Duquesne University Donahue Graduate School of Business. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from West Virginia University, majoring in finance.

Prior to forming Heritage Elder Law & Estate Planning, LLC, Tim worked as an Associate Attorney with the law firm of Burns White, LLC.  He also spent several years working for Wells Fargo Insurance Services, helping business owners meet their insurance needs.

Tim lives in Cranberry Township with his lovely wife, Robyn, and his son Jack.  Outside of the office, when Tim isn’t relaxing with Robyn and Jack, he is most likely golfing, hunting, or fishing.

Mr. Sechler is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

Chris Ziegler - Office Manager

Chris Ziegler started working for Attorney Banner in his Solo practice in March of 2011 as Office Manager.  At Heritage Elder Law & Estate Planning, LLC. she is the Office Manager and Client Services Coordinator.  She is the first person you see as you walk through the door.  Chris also assists with drafting, reviewing, and assembling your estate documents.

Chris is currently the President of the Butler Freeport Community Trail Council.  She also volunteers for Butler Area Multi-Municipal Plan (BAMM) Parks & Recreation, Butler Downtown Design Committee, the City of Butler Bike Ped Commission, and the Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission Bike Ped Group.

Chris is a native to Butler County now living in Jefferson Township with husband Dave and two sons A.J. and Scott.  When Chris isn’t in the office she is cycling, and cycling, and cycling.  She also enjoys rising goats and the occasional orphaned cow and sheep.

Meredith Glendening - Marketing Coordinator

Meredith Glendening is the Marketing Coordinator and a Client Services Coordinator for Heritage Elder Law & Estate Planning, LLC.  When not baking cookies for clients, she focuses on support for medicaid applications and probate administration.  She is also responsible for the firm's marketing efforts including the scheduling of workshops and public speaking engagements.

She comes to the firm after graduating from the University of Pittsburgh and 5 years in the nonprofit sector (with a brief stint as a local baker)

When Meredith is not in the office she volunteers with Butler Downtown and enjoys crafting and sewing.  She lives in Butler with her husband and their Plott Hound named Prune.
